1. Introduction
At Dream Camera, our core philosophy is preserving identity and rendering truth. This philosophy extends to how we handle your data. We believe your memories are yours, and your data should be treated with the same respect as your photographs.
2. Data We Collect
Dream Camera collects only the information needed to provide photo capture, AI processing, purchases, notifications, support, and service reliability:
- Photos and generated images: Photos you choose to process, optional focus masks, processing settings, and resulting edited images.
- Identifiers: A device-scoped or installation-scoped identifier used for authentication, quota, purchase entitlement, and job ownership.
- Purchase information: Subscription and credit purchase status handled through Apple and RevenueCat.
- Notification tokens: Push notification tokens used to notify your device when processing finishes.
- Technical information: App version, device model, operating system version, request metadata, and error details needed to secure and operate the service.
- Contact information: Email address or other contact details only when you submit a waitlist, support, legal, or copyright request.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use this data to authenticate your installation, process photos, deliver generated results, manage quotas and credits, provide subscriptions and purchases, send processing-complete notifications, prevent abuse, troubleshoot reliability issues, and respond to support or legal requests. We do not sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Photo Processing & Identity
Dream Camera sends the photos you choose to process to our servers and trusted processing providers so the requested image transformation can be completed. We do not use your personal photographs to train our models. We do not sell photos or generated images. We store source and result images only as needed to provide processing, downloads, retries, deletion, abuse prevention, and support.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We use service providers for cloud hosting, image storage, AI image processing, push notifications, purchase entitlement management, and operational logging. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver Dream Camera features and are not permitted by us to use your data for their own advertising.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. While no system is completely secure, we are committed to keeping your email and any future data safe from unauthorized access.
7. Your Choices
You control camera, photo library, and notification permissions through iOS settings. You may delete local images from the app and may contact us to request deletion of server-side data associated with your installation where legally and technically available.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Dream Camera changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
